Fairytale Reception

Posted on May 8th, 2013 by admin No Comments

Back today with lovely details of Kirsten & Will’s fairytale wedding!

For the reception, their isn’t a better venue in Central Arkansas than the Clinton Presidential Center. It is stunning and the staff is fabulous to work with. Throw in a few great vendors and it’s wedding perfection.

For the table signs, we incorporated the couple’s love of literature. Their favorite books labeled each table.

Their guests signed a red cedar wood plank which had their monogram in the center of it.

They are going to put this in their home and possibly make a table out of it in the future.

Central Arkansas Entertainment provided the entertainment.

When setting out for a ceremony destination, Kirsten and Will wanted to WOW their guests, especially since many were traveling from across the country to share in their wedding day. What better a venue than the Arkansas State Capitol Rotunda.

Cabbage Rose dressed the ceremony by hanging a crystal drape and large flower groupings in the wedding colors. It was stunning.

One of my personal favorite details about working at the State Capitol is the bridal entrance down the marble stairs. I love the way Crystal Goss Photography captured Kirsten and Mr. Henderson making a grand entrance.

Kirsten and Will exchanged vows in front of family and friends, then thanks to the ring bearer, exchanged the rings that were hidden in a Harry Potter And the Half-Blood Prince book. A nod to the couples love of literature. Here’s a little secret…You will see more of their love for literature shine through at the reception.

They also chose to tie the “God’s Knot” uniting three cords into one marriage.

What a joyous moment shared with their closest friends and family. And what a setting for their ceremony!

They topped it off with where the guests headed to for the reception. Stay tuned for the next post filled with reception details.

Cinderella met her Prince Charming and the tied the knot in Little Rock, Arkansas on March 23rd. Kirsten and Will opted to do a “First Look” and see each other prior to the ceremony. This is always a great time to capture portraits of the couple. Check out the following images by Crystal Goss Photography  from their first look at the Capital Hotel.

Fairytale Wedding

Posted on May 1st, 2013 by admin No Comments

Time to share a March 2013 wedding with you all. I am thrilled we had Crystal Goss Photography there to capture each and every detail of this ‘Fairytale Wedding.’ The couple had a few ‘Disney’ details mixed in with their big day. After all it is their favorite place- and the bride did an internship there. Instead of glass slippers like cinderella, she did the next best thing….

Wedding shoes from Sex and the City- after all, I am sure these stole many ladies hearts.

Importance of capturing wedding details: Sarah & Kevin

Why go the extra mile and get a professional photographer?

Sure your aunt or uncle can capture snapshots. But professional pictures will last forever and capture the true emotions of the day.

Allow me to show you:

This. Is. Why.

A 'Post & Carr Familie' Celebration

Posted on January 18th, 2013 by Shawna No Comments

Today- we are back with more of the Post & Carr Family Wedding in Subiaco, Arkansas.

The bride, Katie, is a member of the Post family, Arkansas’ own Post Familie Vineyards in Atlus, Arkansas. Each family member that gets married, gets custom wine labels on Post Familie Wine for their guest to enjoy! Katie and Coy had engagement pictures on their bottles, as well as one dedicated to the entire wedding party. It was such a personal way to pull family tradition and backgrounds into the big day! Wedding party and friends were able to take home souvenir glasses with the couples name and date etched on them.

Chad Holsted and Lubus Link Entertainment was there to make sure everyone had a blast. The groom, Coy, and his mother had a great time in their ‘Mother-Son’ dance.

Alice Schluterman in Paris, Arkansas made the bride and groom’s cakes while Barbara Jones and her staff provided the dinner.

Young Designs pulled in the Bride’s favorite color green with the decor and candy bar.

And the bride and groom had a blast celebrating with familie and friends on Memorial Day! They were such a sweet couple, making sure family and friends’ every need was accounted for. Katie was so concerned with everyone else looking perfect, that after pictures and the ceremony, she realized walking through a door (seeing her reflection) that she had not even seen herself in a mirror all day! “Oh, I do look pretty.”  It was priceless. That is a true testament how much she put others before herself even on her day. And Coy, is the first groom, of ours, to cut a piece of the groom’s cake and start handing it to all of the children, waiting for a bite, even with the servers right behind him. They are a beautiful couple inside and

out. Young Designs was honored to work with the Post Familie and the bride and groom throughout the planning for their special day. Congratulations Katie and Coy!
