Trend Tuesdays: Signature Drinks

Posted on July 19th, 2010 by Shawna No Comments

At your next event, instead of offering an open bar,a popular new alternative is designing a signature beverage to serve along with beer and wine. These can be customized based on: the bride and groom’s favorite cocktails, a signature drink for a non-profit fundraiser, or even a fun girly drink for a bridal or baby shower. Signature drinks can be alcoholic or non-alcoholic based on preferences and the event. The best part. You can serve them in anything; mason jars, martini glasses, or even coconuts!

Here are a few pictures and recipes for you to try at your next event.

Drink towers are a great way to display your signature drinks, as shown above. Talk to your designer about innovative ways to make your drinks stand out at your event.

A few favorites from the staff at Young Designs:

Great Non-Alcoholic drinks are flavored lemonades and teas. Old fashioned Pink Lemonade {recipe} and Southern Sweet tea {recipe} are classic options especially served in decorative mason jars.

Pina Colada Coconuts are perfect solution if you are looking for an option to be served with-or-without alcohol. They are the perfect summertime cocktail.

No matter the occasion, there are plenty of martini options to coordinate with your event. Check out Drinks Mixers 100+ martini recipes {here}. Once you choose a recipe pick out a garnish to accent the rim of your glass.
